Import Forms: Code Maps

An Import Code Map provides a simple and straightforward method for mapping values on a Web form to corresponding values in an Emplifi Agent category.

To access the Import Code Maps screen:

In Administration, select Company Setup Workflow / Process Automation Import Form Processing Import Code Maps.

Import Code Maps are added and deleted in the same way as standard category codes.

When you define a new code map, you must select the Category to which the mapping applies. Once this is done, you can add as many codes to the map as you like.

To add codes to a code map:

Make sure the desired map is selected in the navigator.
Click the New Code button on the banner.
In the From Code field, enter a code value as it is generated by the Web form.
In the Target Code field, enter or browse for a code in the specified category. (If you select more than one code, only the first value is used.)

To delete entries from a code map:

Select one or more rows to delete in the Codes tab.
Select the Codes.
Click Delete and you are prompted to confirm the deletion.
Click the Save button on the banner.
