After adding printers to Windows (Windows Settings 
Devices Printers & scanners Add a printer or scanner), each printer should have the orientation, tray, and paper settings appropriately specified. The nature of printer manufacturing is that each OEM can choose to create customized printer dialogs that require some experimenting to ensure that the settings are appropriate. It is also a good idea to specify that only the web identity user account can use the printers that have been added for server-side printing. This prevents any problems due to users attempting to print directly independent of Emplifi Agent.
The settings are located on the Advanced tab of the respective printer. To adjust these settings, complete the following steps:
- From the Windows Settings menu, select Printers & scanners.
- Select the Emplifi Virtual Printer.
- Click the Managebutton and select Printer Properties. The Printer Properties dialog displays.
- Select the Advanced tab.
- Click the Printing Defaults button. The Printing Defaults dialog for the specific OEM displays.
- Select the appropriate settings. For example, paper size, paper tray, and orientation.
- Click OK.
Configuring Fulfillment
The final step for the proper configuration of printing in Emplifi Agent is simply a matter of choosing Fulfillment in the Configuration Editor Function Bar which then brings up the appropriate screen. Select the appropriate printer, per page printer settings, and per letter type.
As a reminder, this can be seen in Emplifi Agent by selecting Administration Configuration Settings. Double-click an applicable configuration (Default) and then select Fulfillment.
